The Olympic gold medalist Jordan Burroughs totally dominated UFC welterweight Ben Askren at the Beat the Streets ‘Grapple at the Garden’ event in New York. The two elite wrestlers met in the main event of the evening, but the 30-year-old Burroughs showcased once again why he’s considered one of the best wrestlers in the world right now.
The four-time world champion won 11-0 via technical fall in the second period. Right from the get-go, Askren felt the pressure as he was put in defensive mode. Askren, who is a two-time NCAA champion and 2008 Olympian, was way slower than his opponent and he couldn’t manage to get a good grip at any point during the match.

The first period ended 9-0 in favor of Burroughs and soon after the two got back to the mat, Jordan quickly shot in for another big takedown which led to the end of the contest.
