Jose Aldo vs. Pedro Munhoz to co-headline UFC 265

An exciting bantamweight fight between former three-time UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo and the number 9 bantamweight ranked fighter Pedro Munhoz will now co-headline the UFC 265 event that will take place on August 7 in Houston, USA.

Shortly after it was announced that the co-main event between Amanda Nunes and Julianna Pena had to be pulled out from the card due to the “Lioness” testing positive for COVID-19, the UFC has announced that Aldo and Munhoz will now serve as the penultimate fight of the night.

The UFC 265 will be headlined by a heavyweight clash between Ciryl Gane and Derrick Lewis.

Aldo,34, snapped  a three fight loosing streak in December 2020, when he defeated Marlon Vera via UD.

Munhoz, 34, also won his last fight. The Brazilian defeated Jimmie Rivera via UD in February 2021.
