Lucas Tenorio was on the loosing side in the fight against Delyan Georgiev when they faced each other in the KWU Open bout at SENSHI 22. He was surprised by the speed of level changing by the Bulgarian.
“Yes, he surprised me with his style. I have watched his previous fights, but I was not aware how fast he can change levels. I expected us to stay more on the ground“, said the Brazilian for Boec.
Tenorio also shared that he was struggling with an injury before the fight. Everything was fine before the gala but when they started he received a couple of high kicks and his forearms have swollen and kept him away from his best game.
In the first round Tenorio almost got to a guillotine choke but the bell ended his attack. He thinks that he could have won in if the rules wore as usual in MMA.
