Mariyan Dimitrov wants to serve as an example for his son in the fight against Tony van Dijk

Mariyan Dimitrov is coming back to SENSHI 18 to face Tony van Dijk in the 85 kg. KWU Open category as one of the main events in order to serve as an example for his son who is coming to see him fight for the first time.

My best weapon will be my motivation because my son is will be in the stands. Dimitrov admits that in front of him there is a serious opponent and is looking forward to a tough bout where the most important thing will be who will keep his mind in place and make a use of the mistakes.

SENSHI 18 will take place on September 16th in Sv. sv. Konstantin and Helena resort near Varna, Bulgaria. Exactly a week from then Mariyan Dimitrov will get into the ring for a second time. He will be part of the main event in the fight gala in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, and will serve also as a host. The event is called “Yes to sports, No to violence” as part of the local protest against domestic violence that surged in the country in the past few months and especially for the case of the 18 year old woman Debora that was cut with a dummy knife by her boyfriend Georgi Georgiev.
