Merey Suyunov beats Jean-Paul Jacquot at SENSHI 6

Kazakhstan’s Merey Suyunov managed to get his first SENSHI win, defeating Jean-Paul Jacquot from France at SENSHI 6.

The fight night took place yesterday (August 21) in Kamchia amid the 14th annual KWU International Summer Camp.

The bout was conducted under the KWU Full-Contact rules in the -85 kg category with Shihan Aleksandr Pichkunov being the referee.

Both fighters wasted no time in studying the opponent and went all-in right from the get-go. It was by far one of the most disputed fights, as both Jean-Paul and Merey were going for the KO, throwing a lot of haymakers and wild punches.

Slowly, but surely, Suyunov managed to Impose his will thanks to his low kicks. The Kazakh was dictating the pace and the tempo, even though there were times where the French man was landing dangerous blows. At the end of the third round, Jacquot got knocked down twice which secured the win for Merey.
