Mihail Velchovski is in the final stages of his preparation for SENSHI 17 on July 8th at the sea resort Sv. sv. Konstantin and Elena where he faces Fernando Martin in the KWU Full Contact 75 kg. division. He shared some details before the gala with Bulgaria ON AIR’s morning show Bulgaria sutrin.

Time passes like an eternity when I’m in the ring. I’m always a little bit nerves but then I say to myself that I am the best and give 100 percent to win the fight. My coach is always behind me and encourages me to show what I am capable of“, Velcheovski shared.

He also admits that the sport robed him from his personal life. His training sessions last for 5 hours a day and in the weekends he doesn’t like to go clubbing but prefers working out in the basement.

His professional career started back in 2018. After that he became a 4 time kickbox national champion. His debut at SENSHI was the the 16th edition where unfortunately lost by a close decision against Eddy Ruiz. But his performance impressed the judges and they gave him the special award for Fighting spirit. The fact that he attended the fight with only a 24 hour notice meant that he is always ready for a fight.
