UFC has signed one of the best Muay Thai female fighters in the world. And that is a fact.
Konklak “Loma Lookboonmee” Suphisara, 23, took it to Instagram where she posted a photo of herself signing the Ultimate Fighting Championship contract. Loma’s deal is historic because she’s the first MMA fighter from Thailand to ever sign with UFC. But that’s nothing new for her – Lookboonmee was the first Thai fighter to sign with Invicta FC and then Pancrase.
Loma will be making her UFC debut in Singapore this October, as she will compete in the strawweight division. Suphisara owns a pro-MMA record of 3 wins and 1 loss, with her last bout taking place on June 7.
UFC’s newest addition is being recognized as one of the most dominant female powers in the history of Muay Thai, as she’s a 9-time national champion.
