No Brits at the European judo championship

The British Judo Performance Advisory Group made the decision to withdraw the team, on the recommendation of the British Judo Performance Leadership Team, following positive Covid-19 cases, within the team, following their return from the Antalya Grand Slam.

Those affected are currently following the contingency plan, in line with NHS and Government guidelines, in self-isolating for 14 days before returning to the Elite Training Centre and during this time are being supported by the British Judo medical team.

The Europeans take place from 16th-18th April. The British team couldn’t participate in the previous Europeans as well in November last year in Prague.
