Ognyan Mirchev got another victory at SENSHI 24 when he faced Walter Christopher in the 65 kg. division. After the win he expressed his desires with Boec to fight for the European title.

I’ve spoke with the people in the organization that I want the European SENSHI belt at 65 kg. I think that I have proved that I am ready“, Ognyan said.

The victory didn’t come easy despite the fact that he realized a knock down in the first round. The Frenchman stepped up and gave him a challenge.

The first round was according to plan. We’ve trained this, the kicks to the body and then to the head. After that I lost my breath. I don’t know why. I am not pleased with the third round but I am OK with the match. I wanted to see how he is going to come forward. I’ve watched his previous fights and he was the aggressive one in them. But we can’t be sure how he would approach me. That’s why I started slow to see what he is going to do and then I started with my own game“, the Bulgarian added.
