One of Bulgaria’s young stars Ognyan Mirchev wants to make a name for himself in SENSHI and he is coming on February 24th to fight Uros Neskovic from Serbia. Boec reached him to see how his preparation is going and we found him in Sofia, Bulgaria.

I am doing double workouts to get myself in shape for 24th. Me and my coach we are making a game plan for the upcoming fight so that I can answer my opponents style. I am doing allot of sparing fights to keep my body well prepared. On the day I will rely on my persistence and fast mind“, shared Mirchev.

He is training at the Bulgarian capital where he can easily find sparing partners who are close to Neskovic’s style.

I am fully concentrated on my professional career after everything that I’ve accomplished on the amateur level. I will be facing a Serbian fighter as it was back in 2019 at my last SENSHI fight. They are well known tough fighters in the world of kickboxing. He is explosively strong even tough he is a little younger than me. We managed to make our game plan with my coach and I intend to follow it and not let him show his potential“, added the Bulgarian.

Mitchev is aiming for more professional fights in the next year and he hopes to get a chance to challenge for the European SENSHI title.

SENSHI 20 is organized in cooperation with the KWU International Professional League, as well as with the special support of Armeec Insurance Company, MAX Sport, Bulgaria Air, M Car Group – BMW dealer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Service and St. St. Constantine and Helena Holding.
