WBC Bridgerweight belt will have its first owner on October 22 when two familiar boxers face each other again. Columbia’s Oscar Rivas will be fighting the American Bryant Jennings at L’Olympia de Montréal, Montreal, Canada.
Their first fight took place back in January 2019 when Rivas managed to TKO Jennings in the final round, retaining his NABF heavyweight title.
Since then the 34-year-old Rivas had two fights – one loss vs. Dillian Whyte followed by a RTD win against Sylvera Louis.
Jennings, 36, is on a two-fight losing streak. After he failed to beat Rivas, Jennings lost to Joe Joyce back in July 2019.
