Everything is all set and ready to go for the super-featherweight world championship unification clash between Oscar Valdez and Shakur Stevenson.
Valdez, 31, is the WBC champion while Stevenson, 24, hold the WBO belt. The pair squared off for the last time prior their fight tonight yesterday at the official weigh-in.
Both guys made weight with Valdez tipping the scale at 58.7 kg and Stevenson weighed in at 58.9 kilos.
Stevenson hasn’t fought since October 2021 when he defeated Jamel Herring to capture the WBO gold.
Valdez was last seen in action in September 2021 when he was given a controversial UD win over Robson Conceição.
