Rashad Evans returns to MMA in 2022

The former UFC light heavyweight champion and UFC Hal of Famer – Rashad Evans, will be junking retirement for a surprising come back fight in early 2022.

Evans, 42, will be stepping inside the Octagon on January 22 in Miami when Eagle FC will hold a fight night. As of this moment, there is no info on who “Suga” will be facing in his attempt to resurrect his MMA career.

According to ESPN, the fight card will be headlined by kickboxing icon Tyrone Spong and former UFC heavyweight “Bigfoot” Antonio Silva.

Evans retired from the field of MMA back in 2018 when he suffered a fifth consecutive loss inside the Octagon. The American is expected to make his return at 93 kilos, despite previous drops to middleweight.
