Rusi Minev steps up into the ring two times in the next month

It seems that Rusi Minev is stepping up on the gas pedal after his FNC defeat against Alessandro Capone last December in FNC. This weekend he is coming to SENSHI and a month from that we will see him at Caged Steel. The two events are exactly 28 days apart.

It’s just a matter of coincides. There was no way to turn down SENSHI because I wanted to fight for them from a long time. This will be my first fight in Bulgaria since 2019“, Rambo said for The Jungle of Sports.

Rusi is facing Bruno Carvalho from Portugal. The two will fight by the KWU Open rules at 75 kg. This means that there is a difference from the classic MMA match. On one hand we have a ring with ropes, and on the other we have a clock for the fight on the ground where they can work for 30 seconds after a takedown. This is why the Bulgarian is focused more on his stance in his camp.

On May 18th Minev will face Ruslan Bolkvadze from Georgia for the first ever Caged Steel event in Bulgaria. There they have the well known MMA rules set.
