Rusi Minev’s homecoming was not as easy as most fans in Varna would want but a victory against a seasoned fighter like Bruno Carvalho is something that is worth mentioning in his resume.

The started slow in the first round and it seamed like they wore checking each others game plan. The fighter from Portugal landed more kicks from his left side and the Bulgarian tried more overhands from both sides.

In the second Minev was the more active fighter in the ring while the third was a back and forth challenge where anything could have happened. Carvalho landed the harder punches in the exchanges and Rusi relied more on his grappling.

At the end Rusi Minev won via split decision and his homecoming at SENSHI 21 was a success.
