Russia claims team title in Greco-Roman style at the World Wrestling Championships

The Russia wrestling federation captured the team title in the Greco-Roman style at the World Wrestling Championships which took place in Oslo, Norway.

The Russian wrestlers gained a total of 152 points – one title, four silver medals and three bronze medals. We remind you that Russia won the team title in the freestyle couple of days prior to them winning the Greco-Roman too.

The only gold for Russia came in the -77 kg category where Roman Vlasov captured his third world title.

Iran finished second with 146 points, even though the Iranian wrestler claimed 4 titles and two bronze medals. Azerbaijan took the third place with 107 points – one gold, one silver and two bronze medals.
