Thiago Santos and Aleksandar Rakic seem to have agreed to face each other on March 6th, multiple sources report.
The bout between the two light heavyweights is yet to be officially announced, as there are still some negotiations going on about the location of the fight.
“Maretta” Santos (21-8) fought just this past Saturday, losing to Glover Teixeira via submission in the third round. This was Santos’s first bout since failing to defeat the then-champion Jon Jones in July 2019 and undergoing knee surgery.
Rakic (13-2) has only lost once in six UFC appearances, dropping a split decision to Volkan Oezdemir in Dec. 2019.
