The 5th KWU World Championship Is Postponed To 2022

The Secretary-General of KWU
Alexandr Pichkunov made a statement at the official website of the Union about the postponed World championship.
“Dear friends! For more than a year now, we have been forced to adjust to the current situation with the pandemic. Many international, national camps, competitions, and seminars have been canceled. I am sure that we will definitely hold all those competitions that have been postponed, and I think they will be held with even greater success!

But at the moment, unfortunately, we have not yet managed to finally defeat the coronavirus infection and return to our usual rhythm of life.

In this regard, the KWU Executive Committee decided to postpone the 5th KWU World Championship among men and women in weight categories to 2022.

Dear KWU athletes, coaches, and judges thank you for not giving up, continue to train your students and train yourself, continue to hold competitions, camps and seminars at the possible level, and promote Kyokushin!

I hope everything will work out soon, and we will be able to return to our usual life!

Secretary-General of KWU
Alexandr Pichkunov
