Eduard Aleksanyan is coming back to SENSHI in a few weeks for his European title fight against Jakob Styben from Germany in the 90 kg. KWU Full Contact division. The Bulgarian is 184 sm. tall witch is a 6 sm. disadvantage for him. But that doesn’t bother him at all. Boec talked to Eddy to check how his camp is going, did he recover from his injury in the ankle and how he intends to cope with Styben in maybe their biggest career challenge to date.

The fact that he is tall gives him advantage but this doesn’t bother me at all. At the moment we are working on my defense and offence in order to step up my activity in fights“, Aleksanyan said.

The 27 years old fighter went to Romania for his previous fight in the Spring but there he picked broke his leg and was forced to go into rehabilitation for a couple of months. Now he says that he is 100% ready and is giving his all in the gym in order to be in his best possible shape for the Varna fight.

For now everything is OK and according to plan. I am fully recovered from my injury and I can push my self to the maximum on training, as they say. I work hard. There is some concern but in the ring I’ll relax mentally. After all I am going for the win and I can’t let this be a weight on my shoulders“, he shared in front of the camera.

Mister Show admits that his weakness is his sweet tooth and that is what makes getting into shape for the category harder. But now he managed to keep him self away the temptation and is just a few kilograms away from his target weight.

First and for most I am extremely proud with my self. After all these hard camps the results are finally coming. The best is yet to come and I am going for the number one spot“. This was his comment on the fact that Combat Press ranked him in the top 10 kickboxers in his division.
