The Japan judo team is back in youth championships

The Japanese national judo team is back at the World Championships for Juniors, that will be held from August 10 to 14 in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Last year the Japanese decided not to participate in the world championships in Italy and the European athletes won all gold medals. That will be different in Guayaquil where the Japanese will line up a strong team of talent. Most of the athletes had some experience at European Cup level this year at events in Spain or Austria.
