We are a few hours away from the start of the combat sports show SENSHI 19. The start is today at 6:30 PM at the Kongresna hall in Varna, Bulgaria. There we will see Valeri Atanasov for his professional debut for the organization against Arturas Kudresovas in the 95 kg. KWU Open division.

“At first we had some talks for my fight at SENSHI 19 but there was an issue finding an opponent. This Monday I received a call from the organization for an official invitation and I just couldn’t resist”, Atanasov said for BG on Air’s morning show.

Kudresovas is a multinational Lithuanian champion in judo. But that doesn’t bother the Bulgarian because the fight is basically by the MMA rules.

“I spend all my time at the gym and it is not an issue to prepare for the fight. The difference is that I will fight in front of my home crowd and we all know the saying that here even the walls can help. About my opponent I know that he has two MMA fights with two wins. I will adapt my tactics in the ring”, added Valeri Atanasov.

The pointed out that his strong sides are striking and fighting in the center of the ring. He also added that every good fighter has a great coach and a fine team behind him. And he can always rely on the support from the stands. He expects an exiting fight with allot of action.

“You can learn more from a defeat than from a victory. When you loose you focus on your own mistakes and when you win you can easily miss them and have the false feeling that you are better than you actually are”, pointed the Bulgarian.
