The heavyweight clash between unbeaten Tony Yoka and Martin Bakole that had to take place on January 15 in Paris, France, has been postponed due to COVID restrictions.
France is forbidding sporting events with more than 2000 spectators and according to the promoter of Yoka there have been sold at least 5000 tickets, rendering a more limited audience “not economically viable.”
Bakole, 28, was last seen inside the ring in September when he KO’d Haruna Osumanu from Ghana in the opening round.
Yoka, 29, hasn’t fought since September when he TKO’d Croatia’s Petar Milas.
