Two clashes are being added to an upcoming UFC event that will take place on February 6, 2021. The card is currently scheduled to be headlined by heavyweights Alistair Overeem and Alexander Volkov.
Lightweights Clay Guida and Michael Johnson will square off at the fight night. Guida, 38, is on a two-fight losing streak. He fought only one in 2020 and got defeated by Bobby Green in June.
Johnson, 34, is also on a losing tear, as he lost his last three fights.
The other announced bout is also a lightweight clash.
Brazil’s Diego Ferreira will face Iran’s Beneil Dariush. The fight will serve as a rematch from their first clash in 2014 when the 31-year-old Dariush defeated Ferreira via UD.
Dariush is on a five-fight winning streak. He KO’d Scott Holtzman in his previous outing in August.
Ferreira, 35, is also putting a dominant streak. He hasn’t lost a fight in his last six clashes, defeating Anthony Pettis at UFC 246 in his previous bout.
