WBC heavyweight championship will be put on the line when the reigning champ Tyson Fury faces its mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte.
The two Brits will be fighting this spring, but a date and a location are yet to be determined. Several media outlets in Britain are saying that the two camps are currently negotiating ad a possible date that the fight could be held is April 23.
As of this moment there are two major options for a venue – Wembley Stadium in London or Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
Fury and Whyte is one of the most exciting fights in the current landscape of the heavyweight division. Fury will get $32 million and Whyte 8.2 million from the total $41 million purse bid that Frank Warren won , which was how it was initially confirmed. But the WBC has chosen to hold back 10% of the purse for the winner’s bonus.
