We won’t be exaggerating if we say that UFC 238 was the best show of the company since UFC 229. The main card was packed with fights that could easily be the main event.
In the co-main event of the evening, Women Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko (17-3) made a first successful defense of her belt. “Bullet” sent Jessica Eye (14-7) to oblivion with a stunning head kick that KO’d the American.
Valentina Shevchenko kicked Jessica Eye so hard to the head. Fear soon ran through everyone watching #UFC238. Listen for the moment when her shin make contact with her head.. Devastating. pic.twitter.com/iEwnQyUV8z

Both champions won “Performance of the Night” bonus – fourth post-fight bonus for “The Messenger” and third for Shevchenko.
Donald Cerrone (36-12) and Tony Ferguson (25-3) gave the fans one of the most epic battles in quite some time, even though the clash ended with a Doctor Stoppage. “Cowboy” and “El Cucuy” will both be receiving an additional $50 000 bonus for “Fight of the Night”.
This is the record-setting 18 post-fight bonus for Cerrone. For Ferguson, this is his ninth post-event bonus. He has won Fight of the Night in five of his last six outings.
