UFC 260 fight card: Tyron Woodley vs. Vicente Luque set as co-main

There have been several changes made to the UFC 260 card taking place on Saturday night at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

Following the loss of the featherweight championship bout between Alexander Volkanovski and Brian Ortega, the welterweight fight pitting former champion Tyron Woodley against Vicente Luque will now serve as the new co-main event this weekend.

In addition to that change, UFC 260 lost a fight on Wednesday after strawweight competitor Hannah Goldy tested positive for COVID-19, which forced her out of her matchup against Jessica Penne.

That fight is now being rebooked for the UFC event on April 17, which features former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker in the main event against Kelvin Gastelum.

A light heavyweight fight has also undergone a change as Alonzo Menifield is now facing Dana White Contender Series veteran Fabio Cherant, who just recently captured the LFA light heavyweight championship.

Menifield’s original opponent William Knight has been bumped from Saturday night’s card, but he will now move to the upcoming show on April 10 where he faces Da-Un Jung.

Jung’s original opponent Shamil Gamzatov was unable to compete on April 10 due to visa issues coming into the United States.

None of the changed fights affect the main card, which is now set:

MAIN EVENT: Stipe Miocic vs. Francis Ngannou

CO-MAIN EVENT: Tyron Woodley vs. Vicente Luque

Sean O’Malley vs. Thomas Almeida

Gillian Robertson vs. Miranda Maverick

Jamie Mullarkey vs. Khama Worthy
