2019 Cadet World Wrestling Championships: Recap

The 2019 Cadet World Wrestling Championships came to a close with the last five gold-medal matches in Greco-Roman on Sunday night in Sofia, Bulgaria. 30 gold medals were handed to the winners of their categories in the Freestyle, Greco-Roman and Women’s wrestling.

Iran’s Greco-Roman team captured the first place in the team title race with 148 points. 168 points were enough for Russia’s freestyle team to claim the gold in the team rankings, while Japan’s women finished first among the females with 195 points.
