The only eight-division world champion in boxing – Manny Pacquiao (61-7-2) warned his former opponent Floyd “Money” Mayweather that he ‘better stay in retirment if he wont be able to reach my level’.
The 40-year-old Filipino was victorious Saturday night when he outclassed Adrien “The Problem” Broner in one of the most one sided bouts in recent history. Mayweather had a front-row seat for Pacquiao’s UD over Broner and everybody was expecting the announcement of the rematch between the two.
But things didn’t go the way everybody (or at least some) hoped and Floyd seemed higly unconcerned with Manny’s propose.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix, “Pac Man” said Mayweather would be better off staying out of the ring if he doesn’t feel up to the challenge:
“He came into my dressing room before the fight and wished me good luck. I’m still here in boxing. I want to fight the best fighters out there. If he can’t fight on my level, he better stay retired.”
Mayweather hasn’t fought since August 2017, when he KO’d UFC superstar Conor McGregor in a boxing match. 16 months later, Floyd secured $9 million check for playing around with 20-year-old Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in a three-round exhibition that took place in Tokyo.
For now, it seems Floyd’s illustrious career is over, but if history has taught us anything, it’s that if the money is right, impossible is nothing.
