UFC President Dana White has finally announced the location of the highly anticipated ‘Fight Island’.
There were numerous speculations for the past couple of months on where White will stage the upcoming fights that were postponed or canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Yesterday the man in charge dropped the bomb that the mysterious venue is on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The first card that will take place there will be UFC 251 which is turning out to be one of the most enormous events of all time.
There will be three championship fights that will kick-start UFC’s Abu Dhabi 2020 season – a welterweight clash Between Kamaru Usman and Gilbert Burns, a featherweight fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway and Petr Yan vs. Jose Aldo for the vacant bantamweight belt.

The promotion has visited Yas Island before. In 2010, the location hosted UFC 112 and its two title fights between Anderson Silva – Demian Maia, and BJ Penn vs. Frankie Edgar.
UFC last visited Yas Island this past September for UFC 242, where Khabib Nurmagomedov successfully defended his UFC lightweight championship against Dustin Poirier.
