WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will fight on December 5 in the UK against undefeated Agit Kabayel, per Frank Warren.
This is set to be Fury’s first fight on home soil since beating Francesco Pianeta in Belfast in August 2018, and his first fight in London since stopping Christian Hammer in February 2015.
“We’re giving the guy we want to fight, which is Kabayel, 24 hours now to sign the contract or we’re going to move on. He’s undefeated and has a win on his record over Derek Chisora. He was the European Champion and he’s ranked by the WBC.
“He’s got about 24 hours to make up his mind to sign it and send it back or we’ll move on. He’s the fight subject to the contract being signed”, the legendary British promoter said.
“The Gypsy King” hasn’t fought since February when he TKO’d Deontay Wilder and captured the WBC belt. Fury had to face Wilder for a third fight, but the American fighter didn’t sign the contract in time, and Fury and his team decided to move on and to face someone else.
Kabayel is currently unbeaten in 20 fights, is ranked the eighth challenger by the WBA, 15th in the WBC and ninth in the IBF.
