One of the finest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitors of all time – Andre Galvao is contemplating a return to MMA.
Galvao, 38, is a six-time ADCC World champion in three different categories and a multiple champion from World and Pan-Am championships.
His mixed martial arts career begun in 2008 and ended two years later. He holds a 5-2 record, with his last outing dating back from 2010 when Tyron Woodley defeated him at Strikeforce.
Now, 10 years later Andre believes his skills are evolved and he’d do much better than his first MMA stunt.
Galvao was already a three-time BJJ world champion as a black belt when he started his MMA career, but he’s an even more decorated grappler now. As he noted in his post, Galvao still took several more prestigious grappling accolades in the years after, including three more IBJJF world championships and all of his ADCC titles.
