Undefeated lightweight prospect Uros Medic (6-0) is set to make his UFC debut in 2021.
The Serbian fighter earned himself a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series 27 in August with a first-round finish of Mikey Gonzalez.
Medic will face another debutant Aalon Cruz (8-3) on March 6 next year at an event that is yet to be announced officially, but it is expected to be UFC 259.
The 27-year-old Balkan fighter makes his MMA in 2016, winning five in a row in Alaska FC before he was invited to join the DWCS this year.
His adversary Cruz is also a former participant in the Dana White’s Contender Series. The 31-year-old American was last seen this February when he lost to Spike Carlyle.
