Bulgaria`s Minister of Youth and Sports Krasen Kralev will take part in the TV ceremony which will be broadcasted on 5th of December ot Bulgaria on AIR.
This year the ceremony will take place in a TV format as a security and precaution measure during the pandemic. It will be aired live at 8 PM local time only on Bulgaria ON AIR and Boec.BG, Boec.COM, and the Facebook page of the association.
Krasen Kralev will be the special guest of the ceremony and will give the special prizes – the “Golden Belt” awards for the 5 most important categories of them all – “Best Sportsman – Male”, “Best Sportsman – Female” “Best Coach” “Loyalty to traditions” and “Finest Victory”.
Each of the 12 federations which are part of the National Association of Combat Sports will have the opportunity to award its best sportsmen. Over 40 000 sportsmen are part of the Association and the best among them will be honored.
During the ceremony the special award for the best professional fighter will be also given by the staff of Boec.BG.
The annual ceremony “Golden Belt” will be conducted for the third year in a row by the initiative of the head of NACS and the Professional Kyokyshin League of KWU Shihan Ivo Kamenov. This year`s goal of the ceremony remains the same – to honor the competitors with the best achievements in combat sports and those who work for the development of combat sports in Bulgaria.
The National Association of Combat Sports is the only authorized association for combat sports by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Bulgaria. It was started in 2015 with the purpose of developing and popularizing combat sports in Bulgaria. Over 476 clubs from all over Bulgaria are part of NACS
Part of the association are the headquarters of kickboxing and muay Thai, karate kyokushin, taekwondo, sambo, kendo, kudo, ushu, shotokan karate do, sumo, aikido and arm wrestling.
