Bulgaria’s Eduard Aleksanyan has claimed his 4th SENSHI win in his fifth outing under the SENSHI lights. “Mr. Show” defeated Pavel Turuk from Belarus via UD at Saturday night’s SENSHI 10 event that took place in Varna, Bulgaria.
The clash was conducted under the KWU Full Contact ruleset in the -80 kg category, with kickboxing legend Ernesto Hoost being the special guest referee.
The Bulgarian fighter started off calm and collected, throwing not so many, but effective and powerful shots. The Belarusian on the other hand was relying on his low kicks and whenever they went toe-to-toe, a massive exchange always had to happen. Aleksanyan was using his left hand beautifully and his body shots and uppercuts were echoing though the arena.
Eduard was using his size and reach advantage and every time Turuk decided to cut the distance, he got punished on the inside. The Belarusian was moving next to the ropes, as he couldn’t initiate his attack on the more poised fighter. Aleksanyan unleashed a powerful combo in the very end of the second round, but Turuk showcased his “iron” chin.
The final round was all Aleksanyan, who started to throw some nasty body hooks and punches. He was mixing his attack on both levels, never leaving a doubt of the outcome of the clash.
