At exactly 7:00 AM in Sports Complex “Kamchiya” the 16-th International Camp of Kyokushin World Union began. Karatekas from the age of to 65 started the day with a fantastic group training.
Тhe camp started with an opening speech from the first Bulgarian gold medalist from Kyokushin Europeans – Shihan Asen Asenov. He summoned everybody to follow the basic principles of martial arts during the camp: discipline, respect, and hierarchy. His words were backed up by the member of the board committee of KWU Shihan Andrzej Drewniak. He followed up that the fighters have to only “train, sleep and eat”, so they can get the most out of the camp.
The instructors at the KWU camp will be a whole team of stars in martial arts world – the Czech Kyokushin legend Jan Sokoup, Sensei Zahari Damyanov, Shihan Andrzej Drewniak, Shihan Ivo Kamenov and others.
As participants in the camp we saw some of the biggest stars in the ring of the elite fight organization SENSHI – Sergey Braun, Nikolay Yorgov and Kristiyan Doychev. The training sessions continue today from 4 PM and will continue till the end of the week.
