Junior dos Santos and Francis Ngannou are going to headline the event UFC Minneapolis. The bout was set for UFC 239.
A rematch between former welterweight champions Tyron Woodley and Robbie Lawler was the previous main event, but Woodley withdrew from the June 29 headliner due to a hand injury.
This is going to be Dos Santos’s fourth straight main event booking. The star headlined shows in Wichita, Kansas, Adelaide, Australia, and Boise, Idaho.
Ngannou (13-3) has won two straight by TKO, knocking off Cain Velasquez and Curtis Blaydes in a combined 71 seconds. This will be Ngannou’s third straight main event opportunity.
The fight show is in Minneapolis at Target Center on June 29.
