History was made at UFC 239!
Jorge Masvidal (34-13) KO’d Ben Askren (19-1) in what turned out to be the fastest knockout in the history of UFC. It was also Askren’s first pro loss.
The 34-years-old Masvidal said before the fight that he wants to maul and terrorize his opponent for 15 minutes, but things ended in less than 5 seconds in the first round.
Askren went straight away for the takedown, but Masvidal flew across with a flying knee that stumped “Funky” right in the head and that was it.
