One of Britain’s most famous heavyweight boxers Dereck Chisora (31-9) delivered a massive KO last night at O2 Arena in London.
“WAR” fought former world title challenger Artur Szpilka (22-4) on the undercard of Whyte-Rivas. The 35-years-old home crowd favorite got the W via KO in the second round, winning his second straight fight in 2019.
Poland’s Szpilka started the fight trying to establish his southpaw jab, but Chisora wasn’t impressed at threw some nice jabs of his own. Less than a minute into the second round, the Brit stormed his adversary to the ropes, landing great left to the body followed by a right to the head of Szpilka who got shooked and three hard punches after the ref finally stopped the fight.
Chisora’s victory means there’s a big chance his next bout will be against former WBO world heavyweight champion Joseph Parker.
