UFC president Dana White admitted that a third fight between heavyweight champions Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier is about to be negotiated.
Cormier knocked out Miocic in their first meeting in 2018 and took the title before he suffered the same fate in their rematch in August at UFC 241 and lost the belt to his opponent.
“Stipe is recovering from that fight. He’s got some bumps and bangs from that fight. We’re waiting for him to heal and then yeah, we’re going to do the trilogy,” White told Barstool Sports.
A trilogy between them was suggested before the second fight by wannabe champion Francis Ngannou, who is waiting in line for a title shot. If the third match comes to fruition, “The Predator” will have to wait a little longer than expected.
