The WBC world heavyweight belt which is in possession of Deontay Wilder (41-0-1) will be put on the line on November 23 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
“The Bronze Bomber” will fight an old foe who gave him a lot of problems in their first encounter in 2018 – Cuba’s Luis Ortiz (31-1).

The first clash between the pair was in New York last year when the Alabama native defeated “King Kong” via TKO in the 10th round. The one thing this fight will be remembered with is the unusual stoppage of the fight in the 8th round when the ref gave Wilder a time to recover from Ortiz’s heavy shots that were landing in the seventh.
If the 33-year-old American manages to beat Ortiz again, then everything will be set up for a rematch with the former unified world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in February 2020.
At least that’s what they said.
