WBA world super-lightweight champion Regis Prograis (24-0) is pretty confident he will emerge as the winner from his Saturday night fight against IBF titleholder Josh Taylor (15-0).

The pair is set to meet this weekend in London at the O2 Arena in a unification bout, as the winner will also take home the Muhammad Ali trophy.
“I do everything better than him in the ring. It’s not just one thing,” Prograis told BoxingScene.com.

“I never have a set game plan going into a fight. I always fight off how I feel in the first round. All I have to do is know that I’m prepared and in shape and my sparring was great. Once fight night comes, I can do anything in the ring, and that’s usually what I do.”
“He’s long. He knows how to use his reach, for sure. He definitely has some power,” explained Prograis. “He has a really good right hand and right jab. A left hand, too. He sits on his shots. He moves his body real good, too. He does a lot of good things right.”
The 30-year-old American defeated Kiryl Relikh in the tournament’s semi-final back in April via TKO in the 6th round. Meanwhile, the 28-year-old Taylor defeated Ivan Baranchyk back in May via UD.
Prograis will be fighting for the first time outside the US, but the southpaw is the bookmaker’s favorite for going into the fight.
