Due to the world pandemic of COVID19 only participants of 16 y.o. and above are allowed to participate in the XIV KWU International Summer Camp. Champions and prize-winners of international championships and tournaments, as well as champions and prize-winners of national championships are allowed.
It is also planned to hold as part of the International Summer Camp for the 4th time KWU Youth World Cup (18-21 y.o.), which is the successor of the International Varna Cup, held since 2017. The first international tournament Varna Cup was held in 2017 and was a success. Due to the great interest and increasing number of participating countries, in 2019 the format changed to the World Cup for young karate talents.
However, due to the global spread of the coronavirus pandemic, as of now not all countries have opened their borders. We hope that soon all air flights will be resumed and there will be no obstacles for traveling from one country to another.
We would like to note that this year the organizers of the 4th KWU World Youth Cup (18-21) reserve the right to combine weight categories depending on the number of participants in each weight category.
