Ryan Bader, Bellator’s current number one in the heavyweight division, has pronounced himself as the best in the world.
He will be facing Cheick Kongo tonight at Bellator 226 in San Jose, California and after wins over Matt Mitrione and the legendary Fedor Emelianenko in recent fights, the promotion’s president Scott Coker labeled him the world’s best.
“I went through that tournament, I didn’t get punched in the face one time. Why shouldn’t I believe that? I believe I can beat anyone at any given time and that includes heavyweights. So, I don’t think that’s a crazy statement. You put myself and Stipe or Cormier in there, I do believe I can beat them”, Bader told TMZ.
