It appears Bethe Correia is not done with the UFC just yet.
The UFC parted ways with the bantamweight veteran following a decision loss to Pannie Kianzad that marked the final bout of her contract. But the former title contender announced on social media that she’s back for one last fight on Dec. 5, taking on Yanan Wu.
Multiple people with knowledge of the matchup confirmed it to MMA Fighting after an initial report from Ag. Fight. The UFC Fight Night show on Dec. 5 is headlined by Darren Till and Jack Hermansson.
Correia, who wrote a long “gratitude” post on social media in August after news broke that she was no longer in the company’s roster, said she inked a new deal to have her farewell bout later this year. Wu’s name can be seen on what appears to be a typical UFC bout agreement.

Correia (11-5-1) has won two of seven bouts since challenging Ronda Rousey for the 135-pound belt in 2015, scoring victories over Jessica Eye and Sijara Eubanks. Wu (11-3) is 1-2 in the octagon with a first-round armbar over Lauren Mueller sandwiched between decision losses to Giza Mazany and Mizuki Inoue.
