Troubled fighter BJ Penn was given another chance to prove himself in the Octagon against a rival he has had a feud for two years.
The former two-division UFC champion will be facing Nik Lentz in a lightweight fight with the date and the location of the event still to be announced. According to TSN,
Penn told BJPenn.com that he would like to fight Lentz at UFC 244 in New York on Nov. 2, but White told TSN that he expects the yet-to-be officially announced matchup to take place at UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi on Sept. 7.
Penn, 40, has lost his last 7 fights and his last win goes back to defeating Matt Hughes in November 2010.
Lentz (30-10-2-1) has won two of his last three fights, loosing with a TKO in the second round in his last bout against Charles Oliveira in the last episode of their trilogy.
