Bogdan Shumarov after SENSHI 5: I`m happy to be back (VIDEO)

Bogdan Shumarov captured another WAKO PRO World Title for Bulgaria at SENSHI 5. The 23-years old made the crowd in Varna roar with a stunning performance in the main event of the evening defeating Maikel Astur from Estonia.

Here`s what the big winner had to say after the bout:

“This was a very tough match for me. I didnt have much time to prepare. I`m happy to be back, because I had a serious injury. There was no way I was going to lose here in front of my home crowd in Varna and my team. This motivated me even more”

“I knew before the fight that I shouldn`t back down. With the rounds advancing I felt I was closing the distance better. He is very long and rangy and easily scored with his knees. My cut was not that bad and I managed to push forward. His style was a difficult one for me”

“I want to dedicate this title to all the people who help me and support me. The fight night was one of the best shows I have participated in. The fighters are of high level and I would like to thank the hosts for the provided opportunity to showcase my skills”
