England’s Callum Ellenor (8-2) has suffered an injury and he won’t be participating in the main event against Ireland’s James Gallagher (9-1). Bellator 227 will take place in Dublin, Ireland on September 27, as the two were supposed to headline the show.

Ellenor won his debut fight at Bellator in February when he defeated Nathan Greyson via Submission. The Irish youngster on the other hand will compete in his 8th bout under the Bellator banner, but in order for this to happen the company must find a new opponent.
Gallagher is on a two-fight win streak in 2019, defeating Steven Graham and Jeremiah Labino.
