Chisora (29-9, 21 KO) had been in talks to fight former champion Joseph Parker. Instead, he gets “GashineGun” Gashi (17-2, 17 KO), who’s coming off a December TKO loss to Carlos Takam. Dave Allen (16-4-2, 13 KO) vs. Lucas Browne (27-1, 24 KO) was announced back in January and will take place in the same card.
Josh Kelly (8-0, 6 KO), one of England’s top young prospects, faces another young welterweight prospect in Runowski (17-0, 3 KO). The 24-year-old Pole has faced decent competition so far, meaning that record isn’t just fluff, but Kelly should still be the heavy favorite.
Conor Benn (13-0, 9 KO) has not fought since a July victory over Cedrick Peynaud, who’d given Benn all kinds of Hell eight months prior. The 22-year-old doesn’t look like he’ll reach anywhere near the heights of his legendary father, but he is still developing.
