Close fights and high-quality karate at Day 2 of European SENSHI Open

Exciting, exciting, exciting – that`s one way to describe the second day of the 1st SENSHI European OPEN Championship!

A lot of close fights and additional rounds marked the semi-finals of the first-ever amateur tournament under the rules of KWU SENSHI. After a day full of breathtaking knockouts, we saw a lot less knockouts (3), but the quality of the fights and the intrigue were even better!

Now we know the finalists of the Euros, which will be held during the the ninth edition of SENSHI. The winners will receive the unique European SENSHI belts!

The finals will take place in the Amphitheater of Kamchia on Saturday (10.07) with starting hour 8:00 PM local time.

In the semi-finals Belarus put on a great performance and scored 3 victories. Bulgaria, Ukraine, France and Armenia got 2 and Russia 1.

In those 2 days we saw 54 fighters from 13 countries who clashed for a shot at the SENSHI European belts!

The 1st European Open SENSHI championship and SENSHI 9 will take place during the 15-th KWU International Summer Kyokushin Camp which starts on 4th of July and will gather all the kyokyshin elite in one place. The European championship had to be held in 2020, but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Senshi 9 will be broadcasted on Bulgaria ON AIR, MAX Sport, Boec.BG and the US online channels FITE, Boec.COM, Kwunion.com, Kyokushin Karate News and Fightо.News.
