UFC President Dana White is on board with Kayla Harrison coming to UFC, but only if she’s ready for the challenge.
Harrison, 30, is a former two-time Olympic gold medalist in judo and the current PFL’s most notable female fighter. She’s a former PFL women’s lightweight champion and is undefeated in her pro MMA career.
“Yeah, I know her contract’s up soon,” White said. “I don’t know if she’s ready to come over here yet. Or her people feel she’s ready to come over here yet. But when she is, we’re ready.”
Harrison responded to White’s original comments in kind.
“If Dana is ready to pay me a lot of money, I’m ready to make him a lot of money. I’ve stated many times that I’m ready to face the best in the world.”
The American won her last fight on May 6 against Mariana Morais via TKO in the opening round.
